Projects: 2004-2005

Merseyside Welfare Rights Resource Centre

24 Hardman Street, Liverpool L1 9AX

Service:
Feasibility Study - Building

Project:
To re-organise office space for the group's requirements.

General Information:
Although the building has a lift, it cannot be said to be fully accessible. Welfare Rights will make arrangements for interviews at other offices or as home visits.

Clients Needs:
Merseyside Welfare Rights Resource Centre has been required to move out of their present premises. They have identified suitable office space above the Oxfam shop on Bold Street.
The old arrangement of partitioning did not meet the group's organisational needs.

Funding:
Welfare Rights have set aside a budget for moving office. Part of the cost of refurbishing the office has been met by the Landlord, who is also offering a rent-free period.
MWRRC's contribution is about £20,000.
