Projects: 2005-2006

The Friends of Williamson's Tunnels

Paddington, Edge Hill, Liverpool

Service:
Feasibility Study (Landscape)

Project:
Produce a design for one of the entrances to Williamson's tunnels to improve access, security and disposal of excavated waste material.

General Information:
This project required that excavated material from the tunnels could be safety dealt with on the small site that the group have next to the tunnel entrance. The layout has been designed to allow a skip to be situated next to the entrance. This is so a conveyor belt can be set up from the excavations and empty straight into the skip. The double gates allow access in and out of the site for the skip.

Clients Needs:
The Group needs to obtain both approval from the landowner and planning approval.

Funding:
To be fundraised from the National Health Service.

Completion:
Not known.
