Project:
The Lighthouse Project provides a variety of services in connection with drug abuse across Merseyside. Having recently won the contract for counselling and medial services to addicts in South Sefton (previously offered by the NHS), the project purchased a building from which to run the services.

General Information:
The main alterations are to insert counselling rooms into the building.
Clients Needs:
Although recently built (1997), the building needed some alterations to suit the requirements of its new owners.

Funding:
The contract sum was in the order of £120,000, including significant sums for new CCTV, computer-managed locks, etc.
Completion:
The contract was agreed in November 2005. Start on site was delayed pending purchase of the building. Although there were significant additions to the work, decided after commencement, the work was completed by the anticipated date in March 2006.
