Project:
Proposed new building training academy.

General Information:
HCTS is one of Merseyside's most successful training organisations for young people. It was established in 1980. They have close working relationships with hundreds of Merseyside businesses and have developed training programmes in co-operation with individual companies and specific business sectors, such as floor covering and childcare.

Clients Needs:
The existing HCTS training facilities are spread out in two sites. These facilities are in high demand and prepare young apprentices with qualifications in the building construction.

Funding:
HCTS is working on this project in association with Huyton New Deal for Communities. This is a flagship project in the regeneration of Norris Green. ERDF has earmarked £2.5 million for this project. Project size 2,400 sqm. Total estimated cost is £3.5 million.

Completion:
Target Date: December 2006
